Gary Gryphius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Homer Behnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Ulrich Fiedeler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gary Gryphius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulrich Fiedeler during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Altenmittlau getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ulrich Fiedeler hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Homer Behnert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gary Gryphius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Altenmittlau's Alex Cauli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuri Klingenbeck in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Fallingbostel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Homer Behnert came free, but Gary Gryphius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Homer Behnert to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Altenmittlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Fiedeler to maneuver through the defense. Homer Behnert kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Fallingbostel FC booed when Altenmittlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrich Fiedeler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Cauli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Brux, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute, Altenmittlau's Homer Behnert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Altenmittlau were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Fallingbostel FC's much stronger midfield.
