The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mattia Perin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Scheck in the 6th minute of the match. Mattia Perin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Scheck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Falkenhide F.C getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Giovanni Bauerschmidt hit a great ball. Clarence Seedorf hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Falkenhide F.C's goalkeeper Mattia Perin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilbert Indenklef. Fenerbahce SK's Björn Ödman got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mattia Perin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Ödman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Laurențiu Burghelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Fenerbahce SK's Arnout Van Kelf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mattia Perin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnout Van Kelf kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mattia Perin. That made the score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Falkenhide F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sascha Knop to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Falkenhide F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Scheck came free, but Mattia Perin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Olívio de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Falkenhide F.C defense, Rick Scheck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mattia Perin. The Falkenhide F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mattia Perin should have stopped the shot. Rick Scheck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mattia Perin came out and tried to block the shot, but Rick Scheck slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 41st minute. Arnout Van Kelf didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 5-1 via right post in the game's 44th minute. Fenerbahce SK's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Arnout Van Kelf made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clarence Seedorf during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clarence Seedorf kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Mattia Perin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnout Van Kelf in the 60th minute of play. Falkenhide F.C's Geno Boykov was substituted for Stefan Ström. Clarence Seedorf was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Falkenhide F.C's Clarence Seedorf got a free kick in the 65th minute. Clarence Seedorf kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Scheck in the 70th minute of play forced Falkenhide F.C's goalkeeper Mattia Perin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Ödman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattia Perin having to interfere. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Arnout Van Kelf sped through Falkenhide F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mattia Perin. Mattia Perin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnout Van Kelf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattia Perin came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahce SK's Björn Ödman. But to his dismay, Björn Ödman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. A collision led to Fenerbahce SK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Moritz Dworakowski hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnout Van Kelf in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattia Perin saved Falkenhide F.C from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Arnout Van Kelf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattia Perin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fenerbahce SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
