Hanjo Cyrkel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Kim Pretzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanjo Cyrkel in the 39th minute of play forced BSC Jena 98's goalkeeper Jens Ebbenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burkhard Kofler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burkhard Michalke in the 40th minute of the match. Hanjo Cyrkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jens Ebbenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Borussia Ostermoordorf booed when BSC Jena 98 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Pathe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hanjo Cyrkel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Ebbenga having to make a save. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind BSC Jena 98's goalkeeper Jens Ebbenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Ackermann was the one to do the kick off. Hanjo Cyrkel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens Ebbenga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 58 minutes BSC Jena 98's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomáš Szedlák who took care of the corner kick. 59 minutes into the game, one of BSC Jena 98:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Victor Jensen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jens Ebbenga. Jens Ebbenga was a little too slow when Hanjo Cyrkel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-3. 70 minutes into the game, Victor Jensen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jens Ebbenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Burkhard Kofler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Ackermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jens Ebbenga made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Sandor Borchert sent off a good shot on target. Burkhard Kofler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Ackermann in the 83rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Borussia Ostermoordorf eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
