If Detmar Brunet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Schlünz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Brilhante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Diamantino Brilhante sped through Leuderodee's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabian Schlünz. Diamantino Brilhante ran back to his position shaking his head. The Leuderodee fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
