The referee gave Odeweg FSV a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Conrad Furesi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leuderodee's Fabian Schlünz. 0-2. When Oswald Ellhof fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leuderodee's protests and gave Oswald Ellhof a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Leuderodee getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Oswald Ellhof hit a great ball. 18 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Odeweg FSV's Marco Bressem fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some careless play in the Leuderodee defense, Marco Bressem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Schlünz. The Leuderodee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Schlünz should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Conrad Furesi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Odeweg FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 28 minutes into the match, Leuderodee's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Bressem came free, but Fabian Schlünz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marco Bressem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabian Schlünz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrad Furesi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Marco Bressem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Schlünz came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Odeweg FSV's Conrad Furesi. But to his dismay, Conrad Furesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 40 minutes into the match, Conrad Furesi notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Leuderodee's Fabian Schlünz. Fabian Schlünz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabian Schlünz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Bressem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eckart Schreiner kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Odeweg FSV were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Bressem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Erasmus Keese was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leuderodee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Odeweg FSV the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Leuderodee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmus Keese to maneuver through the defense. Takeshi Schreiber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Schlünz having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Conrad Furesi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabian Schlünz. Conrad Furesi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Leuderodee's Fabian Schlünz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Leuderodee from getting a goal against them. Odeweg FSV were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Leuderodee's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrad Furesi took the corner. Conrad Furesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Fabian Schlünz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Klingemann got free with Fabian Schlünz in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Leuderodee's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Klingemann came free, but Fabian Schlünz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Conrad Furesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrad Furesi got free with Fabian Schlünz in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 92 in the game by Marco Bressem from a close distance when the talented Fabian Schlünz managed to make a qualified save. Leuderodee's players were relieved. Conrad Furesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Schlünz made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Marco Bressem sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Conrad Furesi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Odeweg FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrad Furesi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Schlünz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Odeweg FSV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leuderodee throughout the match.
