A collision led to ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Angelo Hamberger hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Domeier in the 10th minute of play forced ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm's goalkeeper René Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Zhou Xiang Li notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Büdlich-Breit's Bastian Hoeber. Bastian Hoeber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jesse Elsässer kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Zhou Xiang Li kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Patrick Schreiner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without René Higuita having to make a save. FC Büdlich-Breit's Bastian Hoeber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Moths in the 26th minute of play. FC Büdlich-Breit's Niko Schmitz got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Schreiner got free with René Higuita in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm's Adalbert Holzner seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adalbert Holzner the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adalbert Holzner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 38 minutes into the game, one of ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. René Higuita went to the wrong direction when Jorge Reynen was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 41st match minute, ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Lehmann to maneuver through the defense. René Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niko Schmitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bobby Moths made a kick off. After some careless play in the ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm defense, Patrick Schreiner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of René Higuita. The ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that René Higuita should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Patrick Schreiner notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm's René Higuita. René Higuita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Schreiner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Jörn Domeier notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm's René Higuita. René Higuita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Schreiner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Patrick Schreiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, FC Büdlich-Breit's goal looked a bit too open when Zhou Xiang Li came free, but Bastian Hoeber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. René Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Schreiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jesse Elsässer hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm's Baba Babayaro got a free kick in the 78th minute. ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm's René Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Schreiner in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Patrick Schreiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Büdlich-Breit booed when ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Lehmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Niko Schmitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Büdlich-Breit's supporters rose to their feet, but Niko Schmitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. René Higuita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bastian Hoeber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bobby Moths in the 86th minute. René Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Schreiner in the 90th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thoralf Banke to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ᗩɦmeɗo ᎥᏦᎥ Göȥüm's zone, Niko Schmitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Higuita came out of the goal and Niko Schmitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Büdlich-Breit walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
