Erwin Backes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Ubelteso Fontiveros made a huge save. Ubelteso Fontiveros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Heremans in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Erwin Backes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Gulden Draak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erwin Backes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emürspor's Linus Scholtz got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siim Kikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josip Schlebusch in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Emürspor's Linus Scholtz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siim Kikas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Siim Kikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josip Schlebusch in the 18th minute of play. Evert Heremans struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ubelteso Fontiveros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Gulden Draak. Manuel Peres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Ubelteso Fontiveros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Erwin Backes came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the De Gulden Draak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwin Backes couldn't finish the play. If Josip Schlebusch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius Sutanto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Emürspor's Ubelteso Fontiveros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Backes in the 36th minute of play. In the 45th minute, one of De Gulden Draak:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for De Gulden Draak. After the first half Emürspor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A hard shot 51 in the game by Josip Schlebusch from a close distance when the talented Siim Kikas managed to make a qualified save. De Gulden Draak's players were relieved. De Gulden Draak's Evert Heremans got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Josip Schlebusch took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Siim Kikas to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice moves Eduardo Prado could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Siim Kikas however easily saved by the left post. In the 68th minute, Joe Hobune hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erwin Backes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubelteso Fontiveros having to interfere. Ubelteso Fontiveros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudius Marsching in the 78th minute of the match. When Linus Scholtz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Emürspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Scholtz couldn't finish the play. Claudius Marsching was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Emürspor players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
