The audience was convinced that Mirko Saßmannshausen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubelteso Fontiveros was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bastian Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josip Schlebusch in the 52nd minute of play. When Friedrich Reubold came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the FC Eisenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Friedrich Reubold couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Josip Schlebusch came free, but Bastian Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Eduardo Prado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josip Schlebusch in the 68th minute of play forced FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Eisenberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
