The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Roitzheim's Pascal Colombo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Groth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Roitzheim's Pascal Colombo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Axel Groth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Okanay Kunter in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Matetzki in the 18th minute of play forced FC Wachdendonk's goalkeeper Axel Groth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Roitzheim got a corner. FC Wachdendonk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Percy Huthmacher ran over to the corner to take the kick. Percy Huthmacher made a great header on Roitzheim's corner, it was just that FC Wachdendonk's Axel Groth managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Colombo in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Wachdendonk's goalkeeper Axel Groth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Wachdendonk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Fidelio Weispfenning scored to the left of an out of position Axel Groth, making the score, 3-0. After 34 played minutes FC Wachdendonk got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Reiners. In the 35th minute Pascal Colombo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Roitzheim's Percy Huthmacher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Axel Groth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. FC Wachdendonk's Axel Groth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Colombo in the 41st minute of play. Axel Groth was a little too slow when Pascal Colombo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 45th minute Pascal Colombo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Roitzheim's zone, Pawel Reiners stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wolfgang Dallmeier came out of the goal and Pawel Reiners tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pawel Reiners stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pascal Colombo took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axel Groth. Axel Groth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Justin Hilpert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Silvian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Pascal Colombo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Roitzheim's Okanay Kunter, in the 68th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Roitzheim. In the 70thth minute of the game Pascal Colombo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wachdendonk's Axel Groth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Pascal Colombo notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of FC Wachdendonk's Axel Groth. Axel Groth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roitzheim's Okanay Kunter got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Wachdendonk defense, Pascal Colombo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Groth. The FC Wachdendonk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Groth should have stopped the shot. FC Wachdendonk's Gilbert Kojder was substituted for Nils Schwabe. In the 90thth minute of the game Okanay Kunter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wachdendonk's Axel Groth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Okanay Kunter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Groth was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0.
