Roitzheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Okanay Kunter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thorsten Benscheider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wolfgang Dallmeier was a little too slow when Eicke Brocker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thorsten Benscheider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okanay Kunter, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Okanay Kunter notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FK Partizani Tirana's Thorsten Benscheider. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Thorsten Brock put in a rough tackle. In the 30th minute, one of Roitzheim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Roitzheim. Wolfgang Dallmeier had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Godwin Klöckner's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Godwin Klöckner hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Okanay Kunter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Benscheider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Marian Matetzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marian Matetzki came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Roitzheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marian Matetzki couldn't finish the play. If Roman Raucher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thorsten Benscheider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okanay Kunter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Okanay Kunter made the kick off in the second half. Wolfgang Dallmeier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godwin Klöckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Wolfgang Dallmeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Zeitz in the 94th minute of play. Roitzheim played a much better game than FK Partizani Tirana and deserved their victory. The FK Partizani Tirana players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
