Pio Mumme's late challenge caught a FK Partizani Tirana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pio Mumme helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin got a freekick which was hit by Pio Mumme. Laurent Frister showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erich Peuckert, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ty Scheringer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Bechstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Thorsten Benscheider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ty Scheringer in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thorsten Benscheider prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ty Scheringer in the 63rd minute of play forced FK Partizani Tirana's goalkeeper Thorsten Benscheider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pio Mumme hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match, Erich Peuckert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laurent Frister saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Laurent Frister showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Zeitz in the 72nd minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Eicke Brocker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
