The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Peres came free, but Bastian Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Mirko Saßmannshausen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Kikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match FC Eisenberg got a corner. De Gulden Draak's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wolfgang Schui ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mirko Saßmannshausen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siim Kikas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to FC Eisenberg getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Friedrich Reubold hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Mirko Saßmannshausen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Maximilian Winkelsett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mirko Saßmannshausen got free with Siim Kikas in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, De Gulden Draak's goalkeeper Siim Kikas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Friedrich Reubold. Mirko Saßmannshausen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Siim Kikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, FC Eisenberg's Mirko Saßmannshausen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siim Kikas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 35th minute, Manuel Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils Kettler hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, De Gulden Draak's goal looked a bit too open when Mirko Saßmannshausen came free, but Siim Kikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match FC Eisenberg got a corner. De Gulden Draak's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led FC Eisenberg's Wolfgang Schui to fire away a dangerous shot which Siim Kikas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Manuel Peres made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Mirko Saßmannshausen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Kikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siim Kikas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Mirko Saßmannshausen fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Eisenberg's protests and gave Mirko Saßmannshausen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De Gulden Draak booed when FC Eisenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Saßmannshausen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Tilk in the 64th minute of play forced De Gulden Draak's goalkeeper Siim Kikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Eisenberg's Maximilian Winkelsett got a free kick in the 66th minute. Friedrich Reubold was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Mirko Saßmannshausen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Kamin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Claudius Marsching fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Abel having to interfere. When Friedrich Reubold came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Eisenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Friedrich Reubold couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Eisenberg fans cheered their team off the field, for while De Gulden Draak had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
