In the 4th minute Franz-Peter Zinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurent Frister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Julius Bechstein had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thorsten Benscheider. FK Partizani Tirana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julius Bechstein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ty Scheringer in the 15th minute of play forced FK Partizani Tirana's goalkeeper Thorsten Benscheider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thorsten Benscheider came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Ty Scheringer. But to his dismay, Ty Scheringer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20th minute, Julius Bechstein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, FK Partizani Tirana's goal looked a bit too open when Ty Scheringer came free, but Thorsten Benscheider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Laurent Frister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erich Peuckert in the 26th minute of play. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Erich Peuckert scored to the left of an out of position Laurent Frister, making the score, 1-3. Thorsten Benscheider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Bechstein in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th match minute, FK Partizani Tirana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajetan Meibeck to maneuver through the defense. Petro Diem was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Kajetan Meibeck fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Partizani Tirana's protests and gave Kajetan Meibeck a yellow card for diving instead. Kajetan Meibeck kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Julius Bechstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Julius Bechstein made the kick off in the second half. Anton Galen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thorsten Benscheider having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's goal looked a bit too open when Zwi Gilgen came free, but Laurent Frister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ty Scheringer's late challenge caught a FK Partizani Tirana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ty Scheringer helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin got a freekick which was hit by Ty Scheringer. 57 minutes into the match, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's goal looked a bit too open when Kemal Schmitter came free, but Laurent Frister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kemal Schmitter's late challenge caught a SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kemal Schmitter helped the player get up and apologised. Kemal Schmitter hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Laurent Frister came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Partizani Tirana's Franz-Peter Zinn. But to his dismay, Franz-Peter Zinn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Thorsten Benscheider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ty Scheringer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franz-Peter Zinn charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franz-Peter Zinn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes FK Partizani Tirana got a freekick which was hit by Franz-Peter Zinn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Drewes in the 81st minute of play forced FK Partizani Tirana's goalkeeper Thorsten Benscheider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes, Guido Eberl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Partizani Tirana and the SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, FK Partizani Tirana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Eberl to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julius Bechstein got free with Thorsten Benscheider in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thorsten Benscheider made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Torsten Drewes sent off a good shot on target. After 88 minutes of play, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Ty Scheringer made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thorsten Benscheider was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thorsten Benscheider made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Julius Bechstein sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
