The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bastian Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Scholtz in the 5th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Mirko Saßmannshausen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Eisenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emürspor the free kick. The supporters of Emürspor booed when FC Eisenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Saßmannshausen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Hubertus Burger came free, but Bastian Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menios Balarinas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ubelteso Fontiveros acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wolfgang Schui. FC Eisenberg's Wolfgang Schui got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, FC Eisenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolfgang Schui to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Emürspor's goalkeeper Ubelteso Fontiveros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wolfram Mattheis. Ubelteso Fontiveros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, Emürspor's Ubelteso Fontiveros got control of the ball when Friedrich Reubold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mirko Saßmannshausen took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ubelteso Fontiveros. Ubelteso Fontiveros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 44th minute, Jupp Knapp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bastian Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josip Schlebusch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mirko Saßmannshausen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Lucjan Huchro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Luka Peters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubelteso Fontiveros came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Eisenberg's Mirko Saßmannshausen. But to his dismay, Mirko Saßmannshausen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Friedrich Reubold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ubelteso Fontiveros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Scholtz came free, but Bastian Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hubertus Burger. Ubelteso Fontiveros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedrich Reubold, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Wofgang Rogatty tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bastian Abel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josip Schlebusch got free with Bastian Abel in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 83rd minute of play forced Emürspor's goalkeeper Ubelteso Fontiveros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, FC Eisenberg's Mirko Saßmannshausen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubelteso Fontiveros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ubelteso Fontiveros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Schui in the 87th minute of play. Bastian Abel made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Linus Scholtz sent off a good shot on target.
