Berlin booed when FC Bayern Münschen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Spaarmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Bayern Münschen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hinrik Schwarzfischer should have stopped the shot. Julius Bechsteins short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Hinrik Schwarzfischer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hinrik Schwarzfischer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Drewes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Torsten Drewes fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's protests and gave Torsten Drewes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Torsten Drewes got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Fritz Steigelmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bayern Münschen's supporters rose to their feet, but Fritz Steigelmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 95 played minutes SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin got a freekick which was hit by Lennert Trapp. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin played a much better game than FC Bayern Münschen and deserved their victory. The FC Bayern Münschen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
