Jaroslaw Obermann's late challenge caught a Fc Windorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Ricardo Ioritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chris Sperlich fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lusitânia's protests and gave Chris Sperlich a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lusitânia getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Chris Sperlich hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Backes to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc Windorf fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! In the 65th play minute Jan Backes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcus Benet. 0-2. In the 76th minute of the match Ronny Shilton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimitri Grobmaul skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th minute, one of Fc Windorf:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc Windorf. The referee gave Lusitânia a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joachim Senkel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fc Windorf's Marcus Benet. 1-3. In the 87th minute, Lusitânia's Rolf Hach seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rolf Hach the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lusitânia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rolf Hach had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Lusitânia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Windorf:s goal. In the 89th minute, Jan Backes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Lusitânia's Jaroslaw Obermann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcus Benet. That made the score 1-4 after 93 minutes of play. Marcus Benet made a fantastic save in the 100th minute, when Jan Backes sent off a good shot on target. Dimitri Grobmaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerold Preußler, who was totally free with the ball in the 103rd minute. The Fc Windorf fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lusitânia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
