Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 168) Lusitânia's Jan Backes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simon Rupprecht could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Dimitri Grobmaul made a huge save. Herrenberg F.C.'s Frank Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute Walery Biegun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Grobmaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerrit Knittel kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, Herrenberg F.C.'s Walery Biegun made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitri Grobmaul was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dimitri Grobmaul made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Walery Biegun sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Herrenberg F.C.'s Simon Rupprecht dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Jan Backes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herrenberg F.C.'s Carsten Pampuch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dimitri Grobmaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caradoc Enriquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Carsten Pampuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Backes in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Mark Siegert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lusitânia and the Herrenberg F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Reinhold Jensen from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Dimitri Grobmaul's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 31st minute, Caradoc Enriquez made a precise shot to the right of Dimitri Grobmaul. Lusitânia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With a little luck, Lusitânia's Dimitri Grobmaul got control of the ball when Walery Biegun tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Biegun in the 38th minute of play forced Lusitânia's goalkeeper Dimitri Grobmaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Walery Biegun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitri Grobmaul was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Simon Rupprecht scored 5-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitri Grobmaul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Rupprecht made a kick off. After some careless play in the Lusitânia defense, Caradoc Enriquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitri Grobmaul. The Lusitânia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitri Grobmaul should have stopped the shot. Simon Rupprecht struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Dimitri Grobmaul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herrenberg F.C.. 56 minutes into the game, Manfred Tauss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Carsten Pampuch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walery Biegun scored 7-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitri Grobmaul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dimitri Grobmaul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Biegun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Backes during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan Backes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Herrenberg F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jan Backes came free, but Carsten Pampuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Siegert hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lusitânia getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gerrit Knittel hit a great ball. Jan Backes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carsten Pampuch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Herrenberg F.C.'s Arnauld Ruttens got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Walery Biegun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Reinhold Jensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herrenberg F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Reinhold Jensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitri Grobmaul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitri Grobmaul didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Rupprecht went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score.
