The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Norbert Banse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Carsten Pampuch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 9 minutes into the match, Saase Dynamite's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Rupprecht came free, but Ari Domes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Banse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ari Domes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walery Biegun, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Biegun in the 16th minute of play forced Saase Dynamite's goalkeeper Ari Domes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Caradoc Enriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ari Domes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes Saase Dynamite's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reinhold Jensen who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Herrenberg F.C.'s corner Reinhold Jensen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ari Domes quite easily take care of the ball. Ari Domes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caradoc Enriquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Saase Dynamite booed when Herrenberg F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Meier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ari Domes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Biegun in the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Saase Dynamite defense, Walery Biegun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ari Domes. The Saase Dynamite fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ari Domes should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walery Biegun in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ari Domes saved Saase Dynamite from getting behind. A collision led to Herrenberg F.C. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Reinhold Jensen hit a great ball. If Konstantin Vieten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Konstantin Vieten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Carsten Pampuch made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norbert Banse was the one to do the kick off. When Saase Dynamite's Konstantin Vieten in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herrenberg F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Norbert Banse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten Pampuch having to interfere. Saase Dynamite were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Herrenberg F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejandro Manni took the corner. The corner ended in Alejandro Manni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Herrenberg F.C.'s Carsten Pampuch did a great save. Carsten Pampuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sirius Kuhn in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sirius Kuhn in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carsten Pampuch saved Herrenberg F.C. from getting behind. When Frank Reis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Herrenberg F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Reis couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Saase Dynamite's Werner Senzel got a free kick in the 64th minute. Norbert Banse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saase Dynamite's Viktor Greshake was substituted for Alejandro Manni. The supporters of Herrenberg F.C. booed when Saase Dynamite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hatemi İpçi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Saase Dynamite's goalkeeper Ari Domes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinhold Jensen. Saase Dynamite's Gaspard Bothner was substituted for Stefan Bernardi. After a defensive mix-up in Herrenberg F.C.'s zone, Sirius Kuhn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsten Pampuch came out of the goal and Sirius Kuhn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Simon Rupprecht came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Herrenberg F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Rupprecht couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Arndt Koschyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sirius Kuhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
