An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Prabaya in the 25th minute of play forced Lusitânia's goalkeeper Dimitri Grobmaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Lusitânia's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Pleban came free, but Dimitri Grobmaul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitri Grobmaul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel Prabaya in the 32nd minute of play. Lusitânia's Dimitri Grobmaul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Pleban in the 37th minute of play. A hard shot 38 in the game by Jan Backes from a close distance when the talented Ricky Krone managed to make a qualified save. Aggressive Workout's players were relieved. 42 minutes into the match, Donald Höppner notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lusitânia's Dimitri Grobmaul. Dimitri Grobmaul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 47 minutes into the game, Rolf Hach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lusitânia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aggressive Workout the free kick. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Backes was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Lusitânia booed when Aggressive Workout was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Ehinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Jan Backes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricky Krone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Lusitânia's goalkeeper Dimitri Grobmaul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kai Kambach. Ricky Krone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Backes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donald Höppner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitri Grobmaul having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Lusitânia's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Pleban came free, but Dimitri Grobmaul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Aggressive Workout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Höppner to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes in the game, Damian Pleban got a free kick from a good position and fired away a shot. The shot didn't have enough spin and went out of bounds to the left of the goal. Aggressive Workout's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
