In the 13th minute Reinhold Jensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Grobmaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lusitânia's goalkeeper Dimitri Grobmaul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Simon Rupprecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Grobmaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Matthias Greilich fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lusitânia's protests and gave Matthias Greilich a yellow card for diving instead. Herrenberg F.C.'s Mario Meier was substituted for Adil Weiler. A collision led to Lusitânia getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Matthias Greilich hit a great ball. Dimitri Grobmaul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Biegun in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Lusitânia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Siegert to maneuver through the defense. Carsten Pampuch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Backes in the 24th minute. Dimitri Grobmaul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Rupprecht's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Jan Backes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Carsten Pampuch made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zinédine Hagi during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Zinédine Hagi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Backes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Carsten Pampuch made a huge save. If Jan Backes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Backes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Backes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Carsten Pampuch made a huge save. Herrenberg F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reinhold Jensen in the 46th minute. The corner ended in Reinhold Jensen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lusitânia's Dimitri Grobmaul did a great save.

The wind increased when Simon Rupprecht made the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Herrenberg F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Walery Biegun. A hard shot 61 in the game by Simon Rupprecht from a close distance when the talented Dimitri Grobmaul managed to make a qualified save. Lusitânia's players were relieved. Simon Rupprecht kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 61stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Lusitânia's keeper Dimitri Grobmaul was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Lusitânia's Dimitri Grobmaul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caradoc Enriquez in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Herrenberg F.C. booed when Lusitânia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasili Köppchen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Reinhold Jensen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimitri Grobmaul showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Simon Rupprecht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dimitri Grobmaul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Simon Rupprecht took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Dimitri Grobmaul to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Backes in the 71st minute of play forced Herrenberg F.C.'s goalkeeper Carsten Pampuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lusitânia's Dimitri Grobmaul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Lusitânia from getting a goal against them. 0-4 became the score in the 81st minute when Simon Rupprecht elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Caradoc Enriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Herrenberg F.C. booed when Lusitânia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslaw Obermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Gerrit Knittel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walery Biegun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herrenberg F.C. played a much better game than Lusitânia and deserved their victory. The Lusitânia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
