Mark Siegert kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Fc Windorf's Ricardo Ioritz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitri Grobmaul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute Günther Kielholz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Grobmaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Windorf's zone, Chris Sperlich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Benet came out of the goal and Chris Sperlich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Backes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcus Benet firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ricardo Ioritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute Manfred Tauss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Windorf's Marcus Benet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Windorf from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Hach in the 34th minute of play forced Fc Windorf's goalkeeper Marcus Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Fc Windorf's goalkeeper Marcus Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Backes. Fc Windorf's Marcus Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Backes in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Lusitânia booed when Fc Windorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerold Preußler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Fc Windorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Breitscheid to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Benet made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Jan Backes sent off a good shot on target.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Backes made a kick off. After taking down the ball on Lusitânia's corner Manfred Tauss fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcus Benet quite easily take care of the ball. After 53 minutes, Matthias Greilich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lusitânia and the Fc Windorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 minutes of play, Fc Windorf's Ricardo Ioritz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitri Grobmaul was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fc Windorf made a substitution. Kurt Schmalzbauer replaced Günther Kielholz. Rolf Hach kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Ricardo Ioritz came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Fc Windorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Ioritz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Fc Windorf's Ricardo Ioritz got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 73rd minute, Yavuz Fussbahn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Manfred Tauss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lusitânia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Tauss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Tauss in the 80th minute of the match. Marcus Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Backes in the 81st minute of play. Marcus Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Tauss, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Marcus Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Backes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The coaching staff of Fc Windorf protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Klaas zum Felde had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 93rd minute, one of Fc Windorf:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc Windorf. When the referee ended the match the Lusitânia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
