With his leg Dimitri Grobmaul managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when FC Lilli's Xaver Franz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 6 minutes into the game, Arbo Stamm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dimitri Grobmaul. Arbo Stamm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. FC Lilli were furious when Christian Hofmann was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of FC Lilli:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lusitânia:s goal. 18 minutes into the match, FC Lilli's Xaver Franz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitri Grobmaul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Lusitânia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gerrit Knittel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Backes in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otto-Stephan Hennig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Lusitânia getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Chris Sperlich hit a great ball. Dimitri Grobmaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Domeracki, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucjan Domeracki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dimitri Grobmaul. That made the score 3-1 in the 30 minute of play. After 34 played minutes Lusitânia got a freekick which was hit by Jan Backes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Domeracki in the 35th minute of play forced Lusitânia's goalkeeper Dimitri Grobmaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very nice done corner allowed Justin Bärmann to score against Dimitri Grobmaul in Lusitânia's goal. 4-1 after 37 minutes. Stephan Steinecke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dimitri Grobmaul made a huge save. Otto-Stephan Hennig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Tauss in the 42nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Lilli's Dimitri Grobmaul threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucjan Domeracki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 46 played minutes Lusitânia got a freekick which was hit by Chris Sperlich. Dimitri Grobmaul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xaver Franz in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Backes to strike the kick off in the second half. Xaver Franz charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xaver Franz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xaver Franz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lusitânia booed when FC Lilli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Steinecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitri Grobmaul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Domeracki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Stephan Steinecke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Grobmaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xaver Franz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitri Grobmaul having to interfere. FC Lilli made a substitution. The corner ended in Stephan Steinecke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lusitânia's Dimitri Grobmaul did a great save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Lilli fully deserved thier win.
