Helge Pihlberg started the match with the kick off. Mattias Hilger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Abubakar Noach made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Vorwärts Lübeck's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Hilger came free, but Abubakar Noach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glenn Schmermbeck hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Abdul Behnisch came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Vorwärts Lübeck's Hansjörg Pothmer. But to his dismay, Hansjörg Pothmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vorwärts Lübeck's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Ludwig Kamper scored to the left of an out of position Abubakar Noach, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvester Schwede in the 37th minute of play forced Vorwärts Lübeck's goalkeeper Abubakar Noach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Hilger got free with Abubakar Noach in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hansjörg Pothmer struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Abdul Behnisch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vorwärts Lübeck.

The wind increased when Ludwig Kamper made the kick off in the second half. Abubakar Noach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvester Schwede, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Abubakar Noach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Hilger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdul Behnisch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Förster, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Vorwärts Lübeck's Severino Casero was substituted for Helge Pihlberg. After 65 minutes Give Peace a Chance's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldo Gawletta who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Vorwärts Lübeck booed when Give Peace a Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Focke didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Vorwärts Lübeck fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abubakar Noach should have stopped the shot. Abdul Behnisch was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hansjörg Pothmer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 77 minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Vorwärts Lübeck's Cecilio Ortzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdul Behnisch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Hansjörg Pothmer hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Daniel Becker hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Abdul Behnisch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Casero in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Ludwig Kamper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdul Behnisch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Ortzi in the 91st minute of play. Abubakar Noach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Hilger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Give Peace a Chance supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vorwärts Lübeck's performance. The match ended with a win for Vorwärts Lübeck.
