With a little luck, Dragons XI's Florin Dridu got control of the ball when Nils Hydén tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Biene Maja 09's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Grecea came free, but Burkhardt Teubler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Kreiser in the 25th minute of play forced Dragons XI's goalkeeper Florin Dridu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio García came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Florin Dridu could save by the left post. Burkhardt Teubler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pang Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Biene Maja 09's Ullrich Böhlert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florin Dridu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nils Hydén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Dridu having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Dragons XI's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Fei Ling came free, but Florin Dridu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pang Hong fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragons XI's protests and gave Pang Hong a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dragons XI getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Pang Hong hit a great ball. In the 79th match minute, Biene Maja 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Trabold to maneuver through the defense.
