Shi Yong Xiang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermann Luscher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jona Hegekötter fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Friesenwerdermoor's protests and gave Jona Hegekötter a yellow card for diving instead. Jona Hegekötter hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Kraft in the 58th minute of play forced Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Prospero Goethe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
