Spectators: 9167 (Terracing: 6877, Seating: 2108, VIP seats: 182) SC Night Cats's Xabat Acedo started the match with a crisp pass. But to his dismay, Juliane Resenberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Verdini in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sepp Meier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Juliane Resenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Wilbois in the 20th minute of play forced SV Berkenbrück's goalkeeper Benjamin Debus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Verdini in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Benjamin Debus made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Xabat Acedo sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Stefan Halbich made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Debus. SV Berkenbrück's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. SC Night Cats's Sepp Meier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halit Yöner in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of SC Night Cats booed when SV Berkenbrück was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Zocholl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Xabat Acedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sepp Meier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliane Resenberg in the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Donato Verdini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sepp Meier was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 37 minutes SC Night Cats's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tino Olck who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Kimmich in the 39th minute of play forced SV Berkenbrück's goalkeeper Benjamin Debus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Verdini in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sepp Meier saved SC Night Cats from getting behind. Halit Yöner kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Stefan Halbich lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Benjamin Debus. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Verdini was the one to do the kick off. SV Berkenbrück were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after SC Night Cats's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tino Olck took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tino Olck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sepp Meier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55th minute, Ulises Pagomari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sepp Meier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tino Olck in the 56th minute. In the 58th match minute, SC Night Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabat Acedo to maneuver through the defense. If Xabat Acedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Stefan Halbich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Debus. SV Berkenbrück's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Halbich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Joseph Brinkmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sepp Meier made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Donato Verdini sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, SV Berkenbrück's Donato Verdini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sepp Meier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute SV Berkenbrück were awarded a corner. Tino Olck went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led SV Berkenbrück's Tino Olck to fire away a dangerous shot which Sepp Meier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sepp Meier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Verdini in the 91st minute. Xabat Acedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Night Cats had won after a very even match.
