Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Henning Heringer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 10 minutes into the match, PoznanGalaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Argina came free, but Henning Heringer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, PoznanGalaxy's goalkeeper Henning Heringer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Argina. In the 14th minute, 巩翔傲 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernd Yuschni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 巩翔傲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henning Heringer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiao Xing Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Emilio Argina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Argina in the 29th minute of play. Henning Heringer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qiao Xing Qi in the 32nd minute. Leon Bernard charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Bernard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute of the match PoznanGalaxy got a corner. Hannover Reds's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peter Grommers ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Oalo Kara managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willi Tilmann in the 73rd minute of play. Herbert Busch kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Bernd Yuschni acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Peter Grommers. When Emilio Argina came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Hannover Reds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Argina couldn't finish the play. Bernd Yuschni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Piepenburg went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. PoznanGalaxy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
