In the 20th minute Maxi Moralez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Yuschni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Hannover Reds's goal looked a bit too open when György Anlohse came free, but Bernd Yuschni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Voss got free with Harro Meier in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, YugiPeeK ✈'s Harro Meier got control of the ball when Emilio Argina tried to sneak it across the goal line. The YugiPeeK ✈ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
