In the 18thth minute of the game Anselm Hayer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Anselm Hayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Heringer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, PoznanGalaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Spengler came free, but Henning Heringer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer got control of the ball when Anselm Hayer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that 巩翔傲's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lance Malliouris was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 67th match minute, PoznanGalaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Grommers to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Schonebeck booed when PoznanGalaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Grommers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 minutes, Obbo Tippelt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PoznanGalaxy and the FC Schonebeck players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PoznanGalaxy's Obbo Tippelt got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Paul Some shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henning Heringer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute FC Schonebeck were awarded a corner. Paul Some went to the cornerflag to take it. 巩翔傲 had several of the FC Schonebeck's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Lance Malliouris as he didn't even see the shot coming. PoznanGalaxy made a substitution. Akif Vurgun replaced Adam Kremers. FC Schonebeck's Carmine Anastasi was substituted for Michael Laudrup. After a defensive mix-up in FC Schonebeck's zone, 巩翔傲 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance Malliouris came out of the goal and 巩翔傲 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of PoznanGalaxy booed when FC Schonebeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Anastasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When PoznanGalaxy's 巩翔傲 in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Henning Heringer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lothar Drinkard, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
