With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernd Yuschni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernd Yuschni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ogășanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sebastian Titz made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Willi Tilmann sent off a good shot on target. Bernd Yuschni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Önder Cebi in the 25th minute of play. Emilio Argina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Sebastian Titz made a huge save. The Hannover Reds fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sydney FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
