KIEZKICKER's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Niclas Monschke scored to the left of an out of position Kurt Nelius, making the score, 0-7. After a rather tough play, SSV Ulm 1846's Niclas Monschke got a free kick in the 66th minute. Kurt Nelius was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Don Merlot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Don Merlot really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. SSV Ulm 1846's Alex Kopf managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Heinz-Gerd Vogel in the 76 minute of the game. Kurt Nelius came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot. But to his dismay, Don Merlot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. After 81 minutes of play, SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Nelius was left in no man's land by his defense there! SSV Ulm 1846's attentive Alex Kopf managed to snatch the ball when Jaroslaw Lüdemann made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. Kurt Nelius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Merlot went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Don Merlot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kurt Nelius. That made the score 0-14 in the 90 minute of play. The KIEZKICKER fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SSV Ulm 1846 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
