Alemannia Aachen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manfred Kottsieper in the 4th minute. Jess Carnduff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Bocu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Valter Xabat took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavlos Konstantakakis. Pavlos Konstantakakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dinu Bocu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jess Carnduff came out and tried to block the shot, but Dinu Bocu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 28th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Gianni Balla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jess Carnduff. Gianni Balla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Bocu in the 35th minute of the match. Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enrico Piccirilli in the 37 minute of the game. The supporters of Hamburg Fighters booed when Alemannia Aachen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Leißner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Dinu Bocu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valter Xabat made a kick off. Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 54th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Gianluca Balla notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff. Jess Carnduff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Balla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valter Xabat in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pavlos Konstantakakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Müller got free with Pavlos Konstantakakis in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Bocu in the 84th minute of the match. Enrico Piccirilli made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alemannia Aachen's Aulis Salomaa. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gianluca Balla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hamburg Fighters's supporters rose to their feet, but Gianluca Balla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Müller helped the player get up and apologised. Chants of Alemannia Aachen echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Hamburg Fighters had held the ball for most of the match.
