Spectators: 10850 (Terracing: 8139, Seating: 2495, VIP seats: 216) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Don Merlot kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Armand Callahan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Jonatan Lekberg in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SSV Ulm 1846's Alex Kopf. 8 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucrețiu Brătescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themis Papadimoulis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timo Courtois saved SSV Ulm 1846 from getting behind. Lucrețiu Brătescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Sessa in the 19th minute of play. After taking down the ball on SSV Ulm 1846's corner Sven-Olof Lilja fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucrețiu Brătescu quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Don Merlot took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lucrețiu Brătescu to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute, Themis Papadimoulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonatan Lekberg got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Róbert Štriker. Derek Henderson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match SSV Ulm 1846 got a corner. VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sven-Olof Lilja ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sven-Olof Lilja made a great header on SSV Ulm 1846's corner, it was just that VfL Bad Nenndorf's Lucrețiu Brătescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Timo Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Papadimoulis in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to VfL Bad Nenndorf getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Wang Xiao Hong hit a great ball. Timo Courtois came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis. But to his dismay, Themis Papadimoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themis Papadimoulis in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timo Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the game, Themis Papadimoulis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Timo Courtois was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucrețiu Brătescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Sessa in the 56th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Brătescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Sessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by VfL Bad Nenndorf's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Olof Lilja was slow to take the kick. During this time SSV Ulm 1846's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalie and right to Alberigo Sessa. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. VfL Bad Nenndorf's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Merlot in the 60th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Brătescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timo Courtois came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis. But to his dismay, Themis Papadimoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Don Merlot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lucrețiu Brătescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Alberigo Sessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Brătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberigo Sessa scored 2-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucrețiu Brătescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timo Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Székely in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Kang Yun Chao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Kun Liang in the 78th minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Timo Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbert Štriker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Timo Courtois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Róbert Štriker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timo Courtois made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 89th match minute, SSV Ulm 1846 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Jayvier to maneuver through the defense. Wang Xiao Hong hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded VfL Bad Nenndorf left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SSV Ulm 1846.
