Alojz Krebs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Helmut Klimša having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alois Luňák in the 7th minute of play forced FC Trebendorf's goalkeeper Helmut Klimša to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FK Úvalno's Helmut Illek got a free kick in the 10th minute. Tomáš Nečesaný's late challenge caught a FK Úvalno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomáš Nečesaný helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FK Úvalno booed when FC Trebendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomáš Nečesaný didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlastislav Křesťan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bohumír Štych's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Vlastislav Křesťan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bohumír Štych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alojz Krebs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alojz Krebs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Helmut Klimša having to make a save. Alojz Krebs took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmut Klimša. Helmut Klimša dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Helmut Klimša made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Alojz Krebs sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alojz Krebs got free with Helmut Klimša in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Trebendorf getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jiří Kavan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jan Buráň managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Úvalno's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Buráň was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmut Klimša breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomáš Nečesaný to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Tomáš Nečesaný who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Úvalno's Vlastislav Křesťan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Trebendorf's Helmut Klimša played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Duna in the 54th minute of play. When Jan Duna came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the FK Úvalno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Duna couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Duna in the 60th minute of play forced FC Trebendorf's goalkeeper Helmut Klimša to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Jan Duna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Úvalno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Duna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Alojz Krebs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Klimša saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alojz Krebs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Helmut Klimša tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, FK Úvalno's Helmut Illek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helmut Klimša narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, FC Trebendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Alojz Krebs came free, but Helmut Klimša reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Helmut Illek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Úvalno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helmut Illek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vlastislav Křesťan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jiří Kavan. FK Úvalno walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
