The Black Monkeys's Emanuel Malec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lubomír Pecha in the 36th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Michal Pohl came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the FK Podlazice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michal Pohl couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in The Black Monkeys's zone, Michal Pohl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Malec came out of the goal and Michal Pohl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lubomír Pecha in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Malec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Lubomír Pecha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Malec was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Michal Pohl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Malec having to interfere. Emanuel Malec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lubomír Pecha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Lhoták shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Michal Pohl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Emanuel Malec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
