Michal Hýbl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Kocek, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Václav Návrat was the one to do the kick off. Michal Hýbl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jurij Koutský charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurij Koutský the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Football Club Hlučín made a substitution. František Chmel replaced Dalimil Jílek. The Sloup players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
