Josef Plechatý could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Pavel Mucha made a huge save. After 16 minutes of play, FC Slavoj's Stanislav Švehla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Werner Krebs was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, FC Slavoj's Antonín Hráček sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Werner Krebs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pavel Mucha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Strmiska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stanislav Švehla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanislav Švehla to make the kick off. In the 74th minute, Ervín Raška got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TJ Tasov's Werner Krebs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Ziegler in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Arnold Kroka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stanislav Ziegler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Werner Krebs having to make a save. Pavol Blažej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Werner Krebs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Slavoj's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
