Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stanislav Kapoun started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Purschau booed when Brezuvky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Popelář didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karel Pažout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petr Vařeka's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Karel Pažout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Kapoun in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brezuvky! Karel Pažout went to the wrong direction when Stanislav Kapoun was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Karel Pažout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Václav Doupovec in the 15th minute of play. Purschau's Pavel Cakl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Purschau from getting a goal against them. Purschau's Stanislav Kapoun got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Brezuvky defense, Rudolf Nezbeda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karel Pažout. The Brezuvky fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karel Pažout should have stopped the shot. Karel Pažout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Voldán, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Karel Pažout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislav Kapoun's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jakub Dostalík sped through Purschau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pavel Cakl. The audience was convinced that Stanislav Kapoun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karel Pažout was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Stanislav Kapoun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karel Pažout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislav Voldán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Stanislav Kapoun sped through Brezuvky's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karel Pažout. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Brezuvky getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zdeněk Vinklárek hit a great ball. Rudolf Nezbeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Karel Pažout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes in the game, Stanislav Kapoun fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karel Pažout having to interfere. Václav Doupovec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Pažout having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Václav Doupovec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purschau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Václav Doupovec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karel Janouš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pavel Cakl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Brezuvky getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Anatolij Solař hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Brezuvky's zone, Ladislav Voldán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karel Pažout came out of the goal and Ladislav Voldán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karel Pažout was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Rudolf Nezbeda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rudolf Nezbeda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Karel Janouš scored 2-5 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavel Cakl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ladislav Voldán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Purschau's Pavel Černošek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karel Pažout made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. Stanislav Kapoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Pažout having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Purschau's Václav Doupovec made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karel Pažout was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Purschau could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brezuvky throughout the match.
