If Filip Stere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Šafář took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Stere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Stere might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marek Šafář. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Stere ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the game, Josef Kaňák was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Eiwanowitz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Mexiko City the free kick. Josef Kaňák kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes FC Mexiko City got a freekick which was hit by Ludvík Jasanský. Filip Stere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SK Eiwanowitz's zone, Anderson Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Šafář came out of the goal and Anderson Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SK Eiwanowitz's Marek Šafář played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Stere in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Filip Stere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Mexiko City's Jacobo Franco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marek Šafář but with some difficulty. In the 33rd minute, Filip Stere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marek Šafář was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Anderson Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, SK Eiwanowitz's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Stere came free, but Marek Šafář reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Franco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Jacobo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Mexiko City's zone, Milan Holešovský stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jiří Mulač came out of the goal and Milan Holešovský tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, FC Mexiko City's Filip Stere dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anderson Ribeiro to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Filip Stere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marek Šafář made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Ribeiro in the 57th minute of play. Filip Stere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marek Šafář tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marek Šafář came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Mexiko City's Ludvík Jasanský. But to his dismay, Ludvík Jasanský quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Filip Stere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marek Šafář tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milan Holešovský struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jiří Mulač didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Eiwanowitz. In the 72nd minute, Anderson Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marek Šafář was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Marek Šafář made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After having played for 88 minutes, Anderson Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mexiko City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marek Šafář came out of the goal and Anderson Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Filip Stere put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marek Šafář. Anderson Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Šafář having to interfere.
