In the 3rd minute, Augustin Mikoláš left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Guinness fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Guinness's zone, Marian Klas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdenek Piňos came out of the goal and Marian Klas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sobah Al Sharah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marian Klas came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the FC Zbrojovka Brno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marian Klas couldn't finish the play. In the 16th match minute, FC Guinness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Mráz to maneuver through the defense. Sobah Al Sharah came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zdenek Piňos could save by the left post. 22 minutes in the game, Marian Klas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zdenek Piňos having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, FC Guinness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Pařenica to maneuver through the defense. FC Zbrojovka Brno's Egon Šícha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Mikoláš in the 29th minute of play. Zdenek Piňos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marian Klas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. The supporters of FC Guinness booed when FC Zbrojovka Brno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatolij Lyčka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, FC Zbrojovka Brno's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Mikoláš came free, but Egon Šícha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sobah Al Sharah might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zdenek Piňos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sobah Al Sharah ran back to his position shaking his head. Marian Klas succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sobah Al Sharah managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zbrojovka Brno's supporters rose to their feet, but Sobah Al Sharah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdenek Piňos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sobah Al Sharah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Zdenek Piňos made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Mikoláš stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Guinness's goalkeeper Zdenek Piňos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 53 played minutes FC Guinness got a freekick which was hit by Attila Pařenica. With 64 minutes on the clock, Owen Butt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 63 minutes into the game, one of FC Zbrojovka Brno:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, FC Guinness's Jakub Palán got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Egon Šícha. 71 minutes into the match, Sobah Al Sharah notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC Guinness's Zdenek Piňos. Zdenek Piňos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sobah Al Sharah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakub Palán charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakub Palán the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sobah Al Sharah scored 4-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zdenek Piňos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jáchym Salač came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Egon Šícha could save by the left post. After having played for 85 minutes, Sobah Al Sharah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zbrojovka Brno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sobah Al Sharah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Augustin Mikoláš dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egon Šícha, 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Mikoláš in the 98th minute of play forced FC Zbrojovka Brno's goalkeeper Egon Šícha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Zbrojovka Brno walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
