FK Robot's Petr Basl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ctibor Mánek in the 22nd minute of play. AC Sparta Praha A's Emanuel Pecha suffered a concussion after 25 minutes and had to leave the field. After 26 played minutes FK Robot got a freekick which was hit by Otta Kundrát. FK Robot's Petr Basl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FK Robot from getting a goal against them. When Gabriel Vaňous came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the FK Robot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Vaňous couldn't finish the play. Jan Šauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miloslav Jirkovský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
