An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslav Chlebek in the 8th minute of play forced FC SMSlevy's goalkeeper Jan Punčochář to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Plášil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Neužil's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Blažej Jakubík's late challenge caught a FC SMSlevy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC SMSlevy's Jan Punčochář proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC SMSlevy from getting a goal against them. Jan Punčochář was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Michael Štolfa managed to get in a good position for a shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of FC SMSlevy booed when Onsov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukáš Stránský didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Jaroslav Chlebek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jaroslav Chlebek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Punčochář was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
