In the 6th minute, Milan Pivoňka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AC Sparta Praha's Miroslav Štancl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radek Žemlička in the 10th minute of play. Miroslav Štancl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milan Pivoňka in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Milan Pivoňka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miroslav Štancl. AC Sparta Praha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milan Pivoňka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Václav Herzán got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Silmaril's Jiří Šámal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Silmaril from getting a goal against them. Václav Herzán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milan Pivoňka struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Miroslav Štancl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silmaril. 32 minutes into the match, AC Sparta Praha's goal looked a bit too open when Radek Žemlička came free, but Miroslav Štancl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vojtěch Šandor made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Silmaril got a corner. AC Sparta Praha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaroslav Hána ran over to the corner to take the kick. Radek Žemlička could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Miroslav Štancl made a huge save. Radek Žemlička scored 0-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miroslav Štancl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Silmaril's goal looked a bit too open when Zdenek Trnka came free, but Jiří Šámal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, AC Sparta Praha's Miroslav Štancl got control of the ball when Radek Žemlička tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Radek Žemlička cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Miroslav Štancl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75thth minute of the game Milan Pivoňka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Sparta Praha's Miroslav Štancl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miroslav Štancl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milan Pivoňka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AC Sparta Praha's Miroslav Štancl got control of the ball when Radek Žemlička tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, AC Sparta Praha's goal looked a bit too open when Milan Pivoňka came free, but Miroslav Štancl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Silmaril left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AC Sparta Praha.
