Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josef Poštulka in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luděk Krejčíř prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Zvolský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luděk Krejčíř having to interfere. Luděk Krejčíř showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Poštulka, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Josef Poštulka fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medna's protests and gave Josef Poštulka a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Medna got a freekick which was hit by Josef Poštulka. Luděk Krejčíř made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Zvolský in the 19th minute of play. If Josef Poštulka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. In the 31st minute, Jan Zvolský left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Günter Fila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakub Šmerda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Medna got a freekick which was hit by Alexej Kánský. Josef Poštulka got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 43rd minute, Josef Poštulka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jakub Šmerda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Günter Fila in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Alexej Kánský was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Litic the free kick. 59 minutes into the match, Litic's Vavřinec Pelán broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jan Zvolský received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luděk Krejčíř tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Ondřej Bittner in the 66th minute really tested Luděk Krejčíř's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Medna's goal looked a bit too open when Zdeněk Šopík came free, but Jakub Šmerda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Zvolský could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Luděk Krejčíř made a huge save. Heřman Machálek kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Litic's Vavřinec Pelán broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Medna's Jakub Šmerda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeněk Šopík in the 88th minute of play. Rostislav Lyčka kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Jan Zvolský could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Luděk Krejčíř made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Medna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
