Spectators: 5737 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zdeněk Snášel took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Rabin defense, Květoslav Soukal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleš Slováček. The Rabin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleš Slováček should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Jiří Fára hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Květoslav Soukal hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Zdeněk Snášel could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Josef Šustr however easily saved by the left post. If Zdeněk Snášel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, AC Sparta Praha's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Česal came free, but Josef Šustr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Česal in the 27th minute of play forced AC Sparta Praha's goalkeeper Josef Šustr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Česal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Šustr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdeněk Snášel in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Zdeněk Snášel made a precise shot to the right of Josef Šustr. AC Sparta Praha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 42 minutes, Zdeněk Snášel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zdeněk Snášel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Josef Česal came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Rabin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Česal couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jiří Fára stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Rabin's Tomáš Friedl got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Zdeněk Snášel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Josef Česal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rabin's supporters rose to their feet, but Josef Česal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Šustr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Květoslav Soukal in the 66th minute of play forced Rabin's goalkeeper Aleš Slováček to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 77th minute, when AC Sparta Praha's Jiří Fára after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Aleš Slováček in Rabin's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. AC Sparta Praha's Josef Šustr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeněk Snášel in the 80th minute of play. Josef Šustr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Česal in the 83rd minute of the match. Josef Česal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Josef Česal came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Rabin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Česal couldn't finish the play. Rabin's Zdeněk Snášel got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josef Česal might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josef Šustr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Česal ran back to his position shaking his head. Zdeněk Snášel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AC Sparta Praha's Josef Šustr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Česal in the 96th minute of play. Rabin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
