If Petr Gross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petr Gross's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Věroslav Nový read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When Petr Gross came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Strmechy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petr Gross couldn't finish the play. Miloslav Jahn charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miloslav Jahn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Strmechy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Evald Opava in the 35th minute of play forced Strmechy's goalkeeper Ignác Smrčka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to TJ Jawa Divišov getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ervín Myslivec hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdeněk Procházka during the 39th minute. From a short distance, Strmechy's Petr Gross, in the 63rd minute, tried to place the ball behind Věroslav Nový, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out.
