Ivo Tlustý showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karel Černý, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 17 played minutes Dalimil Kocurek could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. In the 27th minute of the match Zdislav Stibor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivo Tlustý showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stefan Nohel was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Jiří Michalík capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jiří Michalík really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 33rd match minute, FC Hostovnice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukáš Bouma to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Černý in the 36th minute of play forced FC Hostovnice's goalkeeper Ivo Tlustý to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hostovnice's zone, Dan Snížek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Tlustý came out of the goal and Dan Snížek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jiří Michalík came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Hostovnice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jiří Michalík couldn't finish the play. Stefan Nohel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiří Michalík in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Barca getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jiří Janečka hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dan Snížek came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Barca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Snížek couldn't finish the play. Dan Snížek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ivo Tlustý tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karel Černý in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivo Tlustý saved FC Hostovnice from getting behind. Barca's Stefan Nohel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalimil Kocurek in the 76th minute of play. After 76 played minutes FC Hostovnice got a freekick which was hit by Vít Miláček. In the 82nd minute, Zdeněk Balák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Milouš Vaňura from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Ivo Tlustý's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The FC Hostovnice fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when FC Hostovnice's Jiří Michalík looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
