Erwin Justus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josef Bém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Hýbl, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With an all-out effort, Tottenham Hotspur FC's Erwin Justus threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hadi Baler, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of FC Varnsdorf Warriors booed when Tottenham Hotspur FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luboš Smýkal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, FC Varnsdorf Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Enis Barkan came free, but Erwin Justus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Hýbl came free, but Josef Bém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikel Yeste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josef Bém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Josef Kahoun kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Enis Barkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute Enis Barkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Justus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Kahoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half FC Varnsdorf Warriors were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Gaitan made a kick off. Josef Kahoun might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erwin Justus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Kahoun ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Hellbom came free, but Josef Bém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Pavol Bicák was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Varnsdorf Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tottenham Hotspur FC the free kick. Hadi Baler hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The long shot by Mikel Yeste in the 66th minute really tested Josef Bém's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 68th minute Jordão Rego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Justus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Varnsdorf Warriors's Erwin Justus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Gaitan in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Tottenham Hotspur FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hadi Baler hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Rafael Hýbl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Bém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Jacek Mlýnek notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Tottenham Hotspur FC's Josef Bém. Josef Bém was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erwin Justus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordão Rego in the 81st minute of play. Erwin Justus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Gaitan went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Jordão Rego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Josef Kahoun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Rafael Hýbl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josef Bém was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Tottenham Hotspur FC's Enis Barkan got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
