Spectators: 8458 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 169) FC Varnsdorf Warriors's Jacek Mlýnek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC Varnsdorf Warriors booed when AC Sparta Praha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Hurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Bogdan Czarnecki managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when FC Varnsdorf Warriors's Jacek Mlýnek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rafael Hýbl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacek Mlýneks short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Bogdan Czarnecki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jacek Mlýnek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Czarnecki having to interfere. AC Sparta Praha's Bogdan Czarnecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save AC Sparta Praha from getting a goal against them. Jacek Mlýnek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Bogdan Czarnecki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, AC Sparta Praha's Erik Kolín got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jacek Mlýnek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Bogdan Czarnecki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jacek Mlýnek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Bogdan Czarnecki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd minute, Dušan Černík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jacek Mlýnek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Czarnecki was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Jacek Mlýneks short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Bogdan Czarnecki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Rafael Hýbl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacek Mlýnek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bogdan Czarnecki came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacek Mlýnek slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Bogdan Czarnecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Mlýnek, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Jacek Mlýnek put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bogdan Czarnecki. AC Sparta Praha's Bogdan Czarnecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Hýbl in the 36th minute of play. When Jacek Mlýnek came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the FC Varnsdorf Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacek Mlýnek couldn't finish the play. After 45 played minutes FC Varnsdorf Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Bicák. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dušan Černík to make the kick off. Jiří Hurt kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When FC Varnsdorf Warriors's Jacek Mlýnek in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Sparta Praha's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute, Ondřej Klimek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th match minute, FC Varnsdorf Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miloslav Bína to maneuver through the defense. Erwin Justus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Kolín in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Erik Kolín kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erwin Justus. That made the score 3-1 in the 59 minute of play. Bogdan Czarnecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Hýbl, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavol Bicák in the 66th minute of play forced AC Sparta Praha's goalkeeper Bogdan Czarnecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Hellbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Czarnecki having to make a save. Bogdan Czarnecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Mlýnek in the 69th minute of the match. Bogdan Czarnecki came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Varnsdorf Warriors's Jacek Mlýnek. But to his dismay, Jacek Mlýnek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Bogdan Czarnecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Mlýnek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ondřej Klimek during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Jacek Mlýnek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Czarnecki was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Dušan Černík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Justus having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Miloslav Bína got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Jacek Mlýnek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Czarnecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, FC Varnsdorf Warriors's Jacek Mlýnek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Czarnecki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the FC Varnsdorf Warriors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
