Otta Kotrba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Weis in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Walery Czech left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Masetschin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Antonín Matys kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliot Lind got free with Pavel Prudký in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elliot Lind to make the kick off.
